About Dr. Dorsett
Originally from Clarksville, TN, Dr. Katie Dorsett has lived in Memphis for 9 years and has grown to love it here and call it home.
She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, for her undergraduate degree before making her way to Memphis to continue her education. Dr. Dorsett completed medical school and her residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
As an OB/GYN, Dr. Dorsett is passionate about working through even the most difficult diagnoses with her patients and will always make sure that every concern has been addressed. She feels that every patient expects a fully individualized treatment and it is her goal to meet that expectation.
Outside of the office, Dr. Dorsett loves playing with her two children and 2 springer spaniels. You can often find her training for a marathon or practicing yoga.
As an avid runner herself, Dr. Dorsett is proud to support Girls On the Run, an organization that strives to empower pre-teen girls to live a healthy life with interactive lessons and running games.
