About Dr. Mullenix
Experience, compassion, and knowledge are just some of the characteristics of a trusted OB/GYN. As a leader in the field, Jason B. Mullenix, MD helps countless patients at Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association. Dr. Mullenix has been a team member since 2011 and proudly treats all women in Memphis, Tennessee and surrounding towns.
Dr. Mullenix earned his bachelor’s degree at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He then went to medical school and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. After gaining residency experience at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Mullenix went into practice and is currently a board-certified OB/GYN.
Keeping up with his continuing education requirements and learning advanced surgical procedures are important to Dr. Mullenix. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Memphis OB/GYN Society. Dr. Mullenix is also a laparoscopic surgery expert and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Mullenix holds two university appointments. He is a clinical instructor with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center OB/GYN department, in addition to a clinical instructor for the nurse practitioner program at the University of Memphis. Dr. Mullenix is affiliated with multiple Memphis-area hospitals, including the Methodist Germantown Hospital. He happily accepts new patients in need of OB/GYN care at our East, Germantown and Wolfchase offices.
