About Dr. Wherry
Dr. Heather Wherry is proud to provide a comprehensive range of services for women of all ages in Memphis and the Mid-South, including traditional obstetrics and gynecologic care, breast health and mammographies, and women’s wellness care that spans from prenatal to menopause and beyond.
Dr. Wherry is a native Memphian, and she also happens to be the sister of our very own Dr. Jason Williams! After graduating from Houston High, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee and earned her medical degree from the UTHSC College of Medicine right here in Memphis. Following this, she served her internship and residency at the UTHSC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Wherry is a registered residency graduate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has received numerous honors over the years. These include The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award in 2018 and the Faculty Medal for Highest Academic Achievement from UTHSC College of Medicine in 2015. Outside of the office, Dr. Wherry and her husband enjoy spending time with their new son!
