Lynn G. Kirkland, DNSc, WHNP

Lynn G. Kirkland, DNSc, WHNPDr. Lynn Kirkland is a native Memphian who attended Saint Agnes Academy (’85) and the University of Memphis. She attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1989. She received her Masters of Science in Maternal Child Nursing in 1992 and became a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She was employed in Labor and Delivery and the MedPlex at The Regional Medical Center at Memphis (The Med) until 1994 when she joined MOGA’s medical staff. In 1999, she received her Doctorate in Nursing Science from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Kirkland was an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Nursing, from 2003 through 2013, and now serves as an adjunct faculty member. She is married and has two children. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Nurse Midwives, and Sigma Theta Tau.
