Gus Aric Giddens, M.D.
Originally from Macon, Georgia, “Dr. Ric” Giddens received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University in Atlanta. He completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, and became a MOGA physician in 1995. Dr. Giddens has been very involved in the implementation of electronic medical records at St. Francis Hospital - Bartlett and with MOGA. He is the former chairman of the OB/GYN department at Saint Francis Hospital - Bartlett, and was a recipient of their 2013 Physician Leadership Award. He is the current chairman of the OB/GYN department at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women. He also serves as the president of our group. Dr. Giddens is board-certified, and is married to Dr. Andrea Giddens (also a MOGA physician). They have a teenage son and two teenage daughters. They have taken several trips to other parts of the world, and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2011.
